Aintree Grand National 2011

It’s that time of year again! By god it soon rolls round, the sun is shining and the whole of the country is going to be inside watching the big race live on the BBC! This years Grand National is set to be one of the best in recent years, near perfect conditions and a host of quality horses to tackle the awesome Aintree fences. Amateur jockey Sam Waley Cohen is looking to add the Grand National trophy to this collection after winning the Gold Cup last month at Cheltenham. Cohen rides Oscar Time who is family owned.

Other jockey’s to look out for are AP McCoy on the 2010 National winner Don’t Push it and Ruby, Ruby, Ruby on The Midnight Club – Those three horses are all short prices, if you fancy punting a few quid on a long shot with a good chance then take a look at ‘PIRAYA’ currently about 100/1… Remember Mon Mome?
